Magnifying lamps

A magnifying lamp combines a real glass lens with daylight-white LED light. You will find one in beauty studios and doctors’ surgeries, at the workbench, in nail salons and in the hobby room.

Lumeno supplies dimmable LED magnifying lamps with a real glass lens in 3, 5 or 8 dioptres — with a table clamp, a stand or a rolling stand. Developed in Germany, with spare parts and repairs handled by our own service department. The comparison below the products shows which series suits your work.

Frequently asked questions

Magnifying lamp or magnifier light — what is the difference?

None. Both names describe the same device: a work lamp with a magnifying lens built into the light. Lumeno uses both terms interchangeably.

Which dioptre rating do I need?

3 dioptres magnify around 1.75×, give the widest field of view and the longest working distance — the usual choice for cosmetics, reading and sewing. 5 dioptres magnify around 2.25× and suit nail design and soldering. 8 dioptres magnify around 3×, with a small field of view and a short distance to the workpiece, for the finest detail.

Standard or crystal-clear glass lens?

The standard glass lens is the proven all-round choice. The crystal-clear lens is made without colour cast or distortion and is worth it wherever colours must be judged precisely — nail design, cosmetics, painting miniatures.

Clamp, table stand or rolling stand?

A table clamp is included with every lamp and fits normal desk tops. Several series are also available as a set with a table stand or a rolling stand — choose the variant directly on the product page. Holders, clamps and stands can be ordered separately at any time.

How bright are the lamps, and can they be dimmed?

Brightness ranges from roughly 450 to 1,150 lumens depending on the series. Some models are dimmed in steps, others infinitely. The exact figures for light output, colour temperature and colour rendering are listed in the technical data on each product page.

Are spare parts available later?

Yes. Lenses, power supplies, tubes, holders and clamps are kept in stock and shipped from our own service department, which also carries out repairs.
